Before proceeding with the orthodontic treatment, a first consultation is necessary to collect all the clinical and radiographic data necessary for the case study and diagnosis. At that time, it is possible to identify problems such as open, cross or deep bite, dental crowding, early loss of baby teeth and to screen for parafunctional habits such as thumb sucking or tongue thrusting when swallowing.<\/p>\n
